Executive Director
Felice J. Levine

Felice J. Levine is Executive Director of the American Educational Research Association. Previously she was Executive Officer of the American Sociological Association. She was also Director of the Law and Social Science Program at the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Senior Research Social Scientist at the American Bar Foundation. She holds A.B., A.M., and Ph.D. degrees in sociology and psychology from the University of Chicago.

William G. Tierney, a University of Southern California (USC) professor who is an expert in the study of higher education and directs the USC Center for Higher Education Policy Analysis, serves as president of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).

Barbara Schneider 

Barbara Schneider, John A. Hannah Chair and University Distinguished Professor in the College of Education and Department of Sociology at Michigan State University, has been voted president-elect of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Her term as president starts at the conclusion of the 2013 Annual Meeting, after one year of service as president-elect.

Arnetha F.
