The 2022 Annual Meeting took place in San Diego, CA, and online, April 21-26, 2022. The theme was "Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century."

AERA has released a summary report of the external review of 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. The independent review evaluated what contributed to the virtual meeting’s underperformance and what could be improved for future meetings. As AERA plans for our 2022 annual meeting, these recommendations are being implemented to ensure our future online events meet or exceed user expectations. Read the summary report.
