Assistant/Associate Professor in AI-Based Quantitative Research Methods in Education

University of Florida

The University of Florida College of Education invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in AI-based quantitative research methods. Areas of expertise may include AI-enhanced or computational psychometrics, digital assessment, causal machine learning, reinforcement learning, and NLP for quantitative analysis. Candidates must hold a doctorate in a relevant field (ABD considered) and demonstrate a strong scholarly record.

Assistant/Associate Assessment Specialist and Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure-Track)

James Madison University

JMU’s Center for Assessment and Research Studies (CARS) and the Department of Graduate Psychology invite applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position in Assessment & Measurement. Responsibilities include two courses per year in measurement, statistics, or research design; advising graduate students; maintaining an active research program; and contributing to university learning-outcomes assessment.

Preferred expertise includes modern research design (e.g., causal inference, propensity scores, missing data) or psychometric methods involving AI, LLMs, or machine learning. Candidates must hold a doctorate in a relevant field and demonstrate scholarship in assessment or measurement.

ABIM Summer Internship in Psychometrics

June 8 – July 31, 2026 | Philadelphia, PA

The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) offers an eight-week paid psychometric internship designed for doctoral students in educational measurement or related fields. Interns will take primary ownership of an applied psychometric research project under the mentorship of ABIM psychometricians. The program also includes instructional lectures and opportunities to engage with ABIM’s operational work.

Eligible applicants must be doctoral students who will have completed at least two years of coursework by the start of the internship.

Compensation totals up to $15,000, including a $10,000 stipend and up to $5,000 in housing reimbursement.
