2023 Annual Meeting paper authors still have time to create or upload their 2023 presentations to the AERA i-Presentation Gallery, if they have not done so already. The deadline to take advantage of this opportunity is August 25. The Gallery becomes an open access product through the AERA website on August 30.

“No matter how you presented your paper at the meeting—whether at a paper, roundtable, or poster session or in a symposium—we urge you to participate so that your work can be viewed online by the thousands of education researchers and others who will be visiting the Gallery,” said AERA Executive Director Felice J. Levine.

All presentations in the Gallery receive a unique digital object identifier (DOI). If authors upload their presentations to the Gallery and also elect to have their papers appear in the 2023 AERA Online Paper Repository, the two will be linked, providing a single path to two unique citations and an easy way for viewers to communicate and network with the authors.

Creating an i-Presentation is easy. Authors can create their own with images, videos, links to external websites, and more. Presentations can be viewed by others from anywhere at any time, without charge. Authors can also simply upload a PDF of their presentation or use one of the i-Presentation templates for their PowerPoint (or equivalent) slides.

Authors can record a narration so that viewers can benefit from a brief overview in the authors’ own words. Authors can also be contacted by other researchers directly through the Gallery platform, where they can chat in writing or through a live video conversation.

First-listed authors received an invite prior to the 2023 Annual Meeting from presentation-gallery@aera.net to create a presentation using the i-Presentation system or to upload an existing presentation. The first-listed authors can invite other authors to work on the presentation. Follow-up invitations will be sent out on August 2 for those who cannot locate earlier invites. In addition to step-by-step guidance, the platform provider aMuze! Interactive Inc. offers online help.

If you are a first author and you did not receive your invite to the Gallery, or if you have questions, please write to the AERA dedicated email box at presentation-gallery@aera.net.
