May 2026
Although the 2026 AERA Annual Meeting has concluded, accepted authors still have time to upload or update their work in the AERA Online Paper Repository and AERA i-Presentation Gallery. The deadline to submit or revise papers and presentations is June 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Both platforms will make 2026 Annual Meeting content openly available on August 15.
The AERA meetings team will send accepted authors detailed instructions for uploading and updating papers and presentations.
The AERA Online Paper Repository is an open access archive containing abstracts for all scientific presentations delivered at AERA Annual Meetings since 2010. More than half of those records also include full-text papers voluntarily contributed by presenters. Repository submissions receive a digital object identifier (DOI), making authors’ work easier to discover, access, and cite while preserving it in a permanent online archive.
The AERA i-Presentation Gallery is a web-based platform that enables researchers to share presentations in interactive digital formats that enhance discoverability and engagement. Since 2020, the Gallery has extended the reach and visibility of Annual Meeting presentations beyond the conference itself. Each i-Presentation receives a DOI, increasing its value as a citable scholarly resource. The Gallery also allows presentation authors and viewers to connect through messaging, text chat, and video features.
Authors who have already uploaded their final papers or presentations do not need to take any further action to ensure inclusion when 2026 content becomes publicly accessible on August 15.
