November 2018
Extensive Program of Professional Development and Training Courses Also Will Be Made Available
Registration and housing for the 2019 Annual Meeting will open in early December. The meeting will be held Friday, April 5 – Tuesday, April 9, in Toronto, Canada. Booking early helps ensure that attendees receive their first-choice housing options. The online program will be available in February. The meeting theme is “Leveraging Education Research in a ’Post-Truth’ Era: Multimodal Narratives to Democratize Evidence.”
AERA will launch a newly developed microsite for the 2019 meeting in conjunction with registration and housing opening. The visually engaging microsite is designed to enhance the web user’s experience of the online Annual Meeting portal. It will be mobile friendly and have a structure that is easier to navigate.
Once meeting attendees have registered, they will have an opportunity to sign up for professional development and training courses. An extensive program of courses will focus on skill development in implementing statistical techniques, communicating and writing research, qualitative research methods, and other research capacity-building areas. The program of courses will be made available when meeting registration and housing opens.
