AERA Issues Report on Prevention of Bullying
May 2013
AERA issued a new report during the Annual Meeting titled
Prevention of Bullying in Schools, Colleges, and Universities: Research Report and Recommendations
. The report results from the work of a blue-ribbon AERA task force mandated to prepare and present to the AERA Council practical short-term and long-term recommendations to address bullying of children and youth, with a focus on legislative, policy, and procedural matters. The report was adopted by Council in February 2013.
The report, which has been covered by
USA Today,
the
Washington Post,
and several other news outlets
, is available to
download as a PDF
for free, or can be
purchased as a print volume
($14.95 members/$19.95 nonmembers).
