March 2023

Authors of papers for presentation at the 2023 Annual Meeting now have available an additional support tool when creating an i-Presentation. AERA has posted two new videos of i-Presentation training webinars held on March 29 and 30. Recordings of the two sessions are available to watch on demand.

Also, aMuze, the creator of “i-Poster,” has a user-friendly guide and a very quick response team to help. Additional author tools, including tutorials and FAQs, are available on the aMuze site. The process of creating a poster or uploading a PDF of a presentation is very straightforward; these aids are an additional help.

Creating an i-Presentation is a MUST DO for authors of papers being presented in a poster session.

Authors of papers in paper sessions, roundtable sessions, structured poster sessions, or symposia have the option of using an i-Presentation for their presentations and reaping the additional benefits of having their research located in the Gallery.

The announced deadline of March 30 for i-Presentations given in Chicago to be created and published in the 2023 Annual Meeting i-Presentation Gallery was intended to give aMuze time to check what authors have done. Once published, authors can continue to make changes up to three hours before their scheduled presentation times. AERA urges authors presenting at the virtual component of the conference to publish no later than April 25, so that attendees can contact them and schedule times to chat or meet by video in the AERA i-Presentation Gallery.

On March 1, the first-listed author of each paper to be presented at the 2023 AERA Annual Meeting—whether in a poster session, paper session, roundtable, symposium, structured poster session, or working group roundtable session—received an email invitation to create their presentation for display in the AERA i-Presentation Gallery.

First authors who did not receive an invite to the Gallery with their login information (including username and password) should write immediately to the AERA-dedicated email box at presentation-gallery@aera.net.

There are almost 5,000 presentations in the Gallery from the 2021 and 2022 AERA Annual Meetings. The Gallery is not only the “home” for presentation of papers but also a platform where you can be reached and interact with registrants and other colleagues interested in your research. All presentations receive digital object identifiers (DOIs), which make presentations more easily discoverable and citable. After the conclusion of the AERA Annual Meeting, the Gallery becomes an open access product on the AERA website.
