January 2022

AERA President Na'ilah Suad Nasir and Presidential Program Co-Chairs Tryphenia Peele-Eady and Elizabeth Tipton have developed 39 presidential sessions that contribute to the 2022 Annual Meeting theme, “Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century,” which focuses on ways to build education systems that champion equity and justice.

The sessions focus on compelling topics that will engage attendees, such as how to better create supportive environments for Asian/Asian American students, examining the effects of COVID-19 in higher education, and re-envisioning civic education in light of growing social inequity and political polarization.
