Annual Meeting Registration Opens January 11
Annual Meeting Registration Opens January 11

December 2021

As announced on December 20, registration for the AERA 2022 Annual Meeting will now open on Tuesday, January 11. This change will provide ample time for AERA to work with its vendors to implement and test the COVID vaccination requirement, incorporate use of AERA member/user ID as the universal ID across Annual Meeting functions, and allow for a seamless single sign-on for Annual Meeting attendees.

Also, due to the observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day on January 17, the Annual Meeting program will now be released on Tuesday, January 18.

“Our highest priority is to deliver an Annual Meeting of the highest caliber, and we are working to ensure that the 2022 conference is a rewarding experience for all participants and attendees,” said AERA Executive Director Felice J. Levine. “We appreciate your support as we enhance Annual Meeting features and our underlying systems.”

The meeting will be held Thursday, April 21, to Tuesday, April 26, 2022. This year due to the COVID pandemic, the Annual Meeting includes both a place-based component in San Diego and a virtual component. The meeting theme is “Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century.”

Registration fees for 2022 remain unchanged from prior in-person and virtual meetings. Those attending in San Diego will see the same fees that are unchanged since 2017 (San Antonio). Registrants attending the virtual meeting in 2022 will register at the same reduced rates provided in 2021.
