The National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) seeks nominations for five appointments. NAGB oversees policy development for the National Assessment of Educational Progress.

The five positions for which NAGB is accepting nominations are

  • Elementary school principal
  • Testing and measurement expert
  • Democratic state legislator
  • General public representative (two openings)

Nominations are due October 12, 2012. Anyone interested in submitting a nomination must include a nominating letter indicating the position being sought and including the nominee’s qualifications related to the responsibilities of the board and a full resume or curriculum vitae. Nominees may also include a statement of interest not exceeding 250 words. Detailed information on the nominations process is available on the NAGB website.
