September 2016

AERA and the Learning and Education Academic Research Network (LEARN) are circulating a letter across the education research community to encourage Congress to support the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) in the 2017 fiscal year (FY) budget.

Congress is currently working to pass a continuing resolution that would fund the government for 10 weeks beginning on October 1. This letter addresses funding for the remainder of FY 2017.

Education research scientists, institutions, organizations, deans, and faculty are encouraged to sign the letter by completing this form, and to share the letter with colleagues. The deadline to sign the letter is Monday, October 3.
