Presidential Sessions to Engage Attendees on Pressing Topics in Education Research

At the 2026 AERA Annual Meeting, attendees can join Meet the Editors sessions (formerly known as Journal Talks) to connect with editors from AERA journals and other publishers. These sessions are designed to facilitate informal, one-on-one conversations between journal editors and reviewers, authors, or potential contributors.

Each registered journal is assigned to a specific session and time slot, and there’s no limit on the number of journal representatives who may participate. Attendees are encouraged to stop by and speak with journal representatives about their journals’ aims, scope, submission process, and other topics.

Over 80 journals will participate in the following sessions:

  • Wednesday, April 8: 3:45–5:15 p.m. PT
  • Thursday, April 9: 9:45–11:15 a.m. PT
  • Friday, April 10: 11:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. PT
  • Saturday, April 11: 11:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. PT
  • Sunday, April 12: 7:45–9:15 a.m. PT

All sessions are held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Level One, Petree Hall C.
