AERA encourages all 2023 Annual Meeting paper authors to take advantage of the opportunity to make their meeting paper available through the AERA Online Paper Repository, if they have not done so already. The deadline to upload final papers is August 10.

“The Online Paper Repository is an exceptional open access opportunity for Annual Meeting authors to share their work worldwide,” said AERA Executive Director Felice J. Levine. “As a permanent online archive, the repository also serves as a reference on current research for scholars, students, and other users.”

Each paper in the Repository receives a digital object identifier (DOI). The DOI makes authors’ work easier to discover, locate, and cite. Paper authors retain copyright over their papers in the repository.

Nearly 50,000 papers from the past 12 AERA annual meetings are available online, constituting nearly half of the papers accepted or invited for annual meetings since 2010. In 2022, 4,062 full-text presented papers were added to the Repository; in 2021, 3,996 were added.

Last year, AERA released a redesigned Repository that included an engaging and user-friendly design, as well as improved functionality. Users are able to search by division, SIG, author, and more advanced search criteria.
