AERA is seeking to network with and create a community of education researchers who are serving on school boards and potentially connecting research to evidence-based policy and practice through such service. To help inform AERA's efforts, the association is asking members who currently serve on a local school board to complete a brief information form at https://forms.gle/wrZv3Snp8x1Y5fCy8

“AERA members are committed to improving education and serving the public good through their scholarly work,” said AERA Executive Director Felice J. Levine. “Part of this important mission is applying research to inform evidence-based policy and practice. This effort to identify and connect with scholars serving school boards will enable us to learn more about the issues you are addressing and the ways in which education researchers are advancing research findings and data to inform important decision-making.”
