Our hearts go out to all the people of Ukraine, including communities of scholars, teachers, and students, who are experiencing unimaginable trauma during this time. AERA is deeply committed to supporting and advancing human rights, including the right to violence-free environments, which are essential for effective scholarship and learning. We stand in solidarity with those dedicated to advancing research, knowledge, and learning. We strongly condemn the acts of aggression and violence that not only are placing millions of innocent Ukrainians at immediate grave risk, but will harm survivors for years and decades to come.
