AERA Guest Educators

AERA invites guest educators from the host city each year to experience a day at the Annual Meeting. In Vancouver, three divisions planned activities for their invited colleagues. The program, organized this year through Divisions E, J, and L, encourages local educators to participate in the Annual Meeting and communicate their insights to AERA researchers.. The experience provides the opportunity for local educators to bring back relevant new knowledge from the Annual Meeting and to share their practical expertise with relevant AERA scholars. In the effort to foster relations and community across research and practice in the Vancouver area, the program linked AERA researchers with state and provincial policy makers from the British Columbia Ministry of Education, the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer, and various professional associations.
