The National Research Council’s Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education is holding two public comment meetings on increasing access to the results of federally funded scientific research.  The meetings are free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Publications Public Comment Meeting
May 14, 2013, 9 am – 5 pm
May 15, 2013, 9 am – 12 pm

May 17, 2013, 9 am – 12 pm

Both meetings will be held at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C.

The topics of these meetings are directly related to the February 22 memorandum from the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).

Interested parties are invited to provide brief verbal or written contributions (instructions regarding these are available on the registration sites) to present ideas for consideration by federal agencies as they plan for accomplishing the goals set forth in the OSTP memo.
