September 2025
On October 1, AERA will launch re:Members, a new membership system designed to better support member engagement and association functions. Over a two-phase rollout, the platform will replace NOAH (MyAERA), which has served AERA for more than two decades.
The first phase begins October 1 with the opening of the 2026 membership year. Members will be able to renew and others can join through re:Members and manage their accounts, including updating contact information and profiles.
The second phase, running from December 2025 through January 2026, will transition other services—including Annual Meeting registration, governance and committee functions, and publication purchases—to the new system. Until then, these services will continue to be accessed through the existing platform.
To renew or join for 2026, members will log in to re:Members via the AERA website. Other services, such as All Academic (used for Annual Meeting submissions, reviews, and session creation), will continue through the current MyAERA platform until later this year. Beginning October 1, both systems will be accessible through the AERA website.
AERA will provide detailed instructions during the week of September 22 to help users navigate the new system and ensure a smooth transition.
This change reflects AERA’s commitment to enhancing the user experience by providing a more robust and technologically advanced platform that makes it easier to join, renew, and access benefits and services.
For questions about the transition, please contact the AERA Membership Team at members@aera.net.
