After a successful reintroduction at last year’s Annual Meeting, the AERA Awards Ceremony Luncheon is returning for 2026. This special event highlights the year’s award recipients and offers attendees a chance to connect with colleagues while reflecting on the field’s commitment to excellence.

The luncheon will take place on Thursday, April 9, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. PT. AERA encourages Annual Meeting participants to add the luncheon to their registration and join in recognizing outstanding contributions to the field.

“We’re excited to celebrate the 2026 awardees and to come together to honor the important work happening in our community,” said AERA Executive Director Tabbye Chavous. “The luncheon is a wonderful opportunity for attendees to acknowledge and be inspired by the accomplishments of their colleagues.”

The cost of lunch is $35 for students and $65 for nonstudents. Attendees can select the luncheon when registering for the Annual Meeting or update an existing registration.  Tickets are first-come, first-served, so early registration is recommended.
