Welcome to the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Education and Research (AAPI-ER) SIG! I am Yeji Kim, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum at the University of Missouri. I am honored and excited to serve as Chair of the AAPI-ER SIG for 2026-2028 and I look forward to continuing to build a vibrant, supportive, and connected community together.
The AAPI-ER SIG is dedicated to scholars, educators, and students whose work centers on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Our SIG brings together members across different career stages, disciplines, and communities who share a commitment to advancing scholarship, teaching/learning, and practice in AAPI education and research. As we move forward, we hope to create more spaces and opportunities for members to connect, learn from one another, and support each other through our various initiatives and activities.
Thank you for your continued interest and participation in the AAPI-ER SIG! I look forward to working alongside all of you!
Sincerely,
Yeji Kim
