SIG 168 Name Change
Old: Doctoral Education Across the Disciplines
New: Graduate and Postdoctoral Education across the Disciplines

In 2014, we sent out invitations to current SIG members to vote on a proposed name change for the SIG. Nearly 40% members of the SIG participated, and the majority of participating members voted for the new name to be:

Graduate and Postdoctoral Education across the Disciplines

Although it has taken some time for this change to be updated in the AERA website and other materials, you will see the broadened scope of our interest represented in the SIG program at the annual meeting, the scholarly interests of our members, and the foci of publications and dissertations eligible for our annual awards. Special thanks to past president Karri Holley and program co-chair Andi Tyler for their efforts in coordinating this change!
