Message from Chair  Dr. Dave A. Louis

Greetings CASE SIG!

We are excited about this upcoming academic year, 2024-2025 academic year, and to build upon a legacy of exceptional scholarship and research as it pertains to issues of interest to Caribbean and African populations.

As an executive body we aspire this year to:

1) Increase and diversify our membership within the SIG

2) Increase opportunities for mentoring and collegial support of our members

3) create more opportunities for our membership to take active roles in our SIG.

On behalf of the Executive team (Andrew Hunte, Alicia Noreiga, Laurette Bristol, Tanya Manning-Lewis, Verna Knight, and myself Dave Louis) I want to extend my deep appreciation for your commitment to building a lively scholarly community, submitting your proposals, and agreeing to be reviewers.

We are anticipating an exciting year as we continue to support, uplift, and work together towards a meaningful experience within our SIG and providing a purposeful platform for our research!
