Dear Constructivist Theory, Research, and Practice SIG Members and Colleagues,
As we step into this new chapter together, I want to extend a warm welcome to our returning members and a heartfelt greeting to the scholars, researchers, and practitioners who share our passion for constructivist theories and practices.
Our SIG thrives on the collective wisdom and collaboration of its members. As we look ahead, our top priority is to build a highly supportive and diverse community. To achieve this, we are actively undertaking several initiatives for the coming year, and we want you to be a part of them.
Initiatives for the Coming Year
- Writing Events (Now Live!): We have successfully launched our SIG writing events to provide dedicated, collaborative spaces for advancing our scholarly work. We invite you to join us for our upcoming session July 20 to connect with peers and find dedicated time for your writing.
- SIG Newsletter: We are relaunching our newsletter to feature member spotlights, recent publications, and valuable resources. If you would like to contribute or have ideas for sections you’d love to read, please let us know.
- Collaborative Spaces: Look out for upcoming virtual coffee hours, webinars, and informal working groups designed to connect us across institutions.
The future of our SIG is shaped by our shared passion and engagement, and your voice matters. Whether you want to help lead one of these initiatives, share a quick suggestion, or simply connect, please reach out to me directly. Let’s work together to build an inclusive space for constructivist scholarship.
Thank you for your dedication to our shared work, and I look forward to connecting with many of you soon.
Warm regards,
Zitong "Winnie" Wei
