Greetings.

Welcome to the New Year. I hope each of our members had a wonderful and blessed holiday season. Most importantly, you had "down time" to just enjoy some time alone so you could reflect on your 2022 accomplishments.

There are some important and timely key items:

  • AERA plans to release the online program on Friday, January 20.
  • We have extended submissions for our two awards until January 20. Please apply or nominate someone for these important awards from YOUR Classroom Assessment SIG
  • Please see below for important information about the upcoming graduate panel, the early career representatives' short but important survey on classroom assessment, and how to submit potential names/contacts information for OUR Classroom Assessment SIG.

When I marched with the 27th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps in my youth, the instructors indicated that you are only as good as the weakest member. We came in 2nd place that year in the world championship. So, we wish each member of our Classroom Assessment SIG to be actively involved in at least one of the SIG-sponsored initiatives mentioned so that our continued progress to meeting your needs continues.
