SIG Purpose

AERA’s SIG on Classroom Assessment aims to generate more interest and focus on classroom assessment, a critical component in teaching and learning.  Our mission is to be the intellectual home for individuals interested in classroom assessment. We provide the opportunity for sharing work, networking, creating new collaborations, recognizing best practices, and providing support for early career and graduate students.  

Our SIG is as good as its membership. While we have an executive and advisory committee, we want each member to be actively involved.

 

 
 
SIG Communication -- Newsletter

SIG members receive a brief newsletter about 10 times during the year. We are grateful that our graduate student leaders help with this endeavor. If you have any information you would like to be considered for the newsletter, please send any information you would like us to consider publishing in our newsletter to Roti Chakraborty, Becky Kelley, Nathan Rickey, or Elie ChingYen Yu.
