The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) announced that in July it will convene a conference on Grand Challenges. The Grand Challenges are part of President Barack Obama’s Strategy for American Innovation to spur breakthroughs in science and technology. The conference will highlight programs that have made progress on the previous Challenges that Federal agencies have set up.
