Catholic Education SIG 175
Catholic Education SIG 175
SIG Purpose
To support, promote, and disseminate information, research, and evaluation of Catholic education written from a diverse set of perspectives, including interdisciplinary and international issues.
Message from SIG Chair

Research on Catholic education is vital not only to understanding the effectiveness of our faith-based approach to education, but to understanding its role in the educational ecosystem.  For this reason the Catholic Education SIG plays a critical role as members conduct and disseminate research on Catholic schools. A goal of our SIG is to increase our visibility within AERA, particularly in membership and the number of presentation proposals. Please invite your colleagues to join our efforts to transform Catholic education through research and sharing of their findings at AERA.

Our next meeting is this upcoming spring in San Francisco, April 17-21st.  Here we will host paper sessions, a symposium, roundtable discussions, and a business meeting. We look forward to a great conference and seeing you in sunny California!
