Currently SIG 93 is working through bylaw changes with AERA. Some of the bylaw changes currently under review are the following:

• Working towards the creation of a mentoring system within our SIG
• The addition of a mid-career scholar award (seeking AERA approval)
• Increasing membership each year
  • The leadership team has sent out emails to lapsed members encouraging membership
  • Worked to recruit new members to the SIG through networking, social media, and more

We are pleased to announce the achievement and ability to now welcome a Graduate Student Representative to the Executive Board, thank you for the work put in to make this happen.
