The International Studies SIG is pleased to offer the following awards:

Lifetime Achievement Award
The SIG is proud to present the "Lifetime Achievement Award" to its members who have consistently demonstrated outstanding participation in AERA's International Studies. This award is provided to acknowledge the SIG's heartfelt gratitude for the recipient's years of dedication to AERA's International Studies. 

Outstanding Service Award
The SIG is also pleased to present the "Outstanding Service Award" to those IS Members who continually dedicate numerous hours of time and energy to keeping International Studies competitive, vibrant, and up-to-date. Duties of the Officers and Board Members can be viewed at The International Studies Special Interest Group By-Laws.

Best Paper Award 

The International Studies SIG "Best Paper Award" recognizes an outstanding paper accepted to an International Studies SIG session at the AERA Annual Meeting. It honors rigorous, original scholarship that advances international perspectives in education. The awardee is available to accept the award at the International Studies SIG Business Meeting.
