I forget my username or password or the ones I am using are not working.
Go to the login page and you will see a link “Forget your User Name and/or Password?” An email will be sent to the email on your record allowing you to reset your user name or password within 60 minutes or you will need to try again.  If you do not receive an email or you no longer have access to the email address linked to your record, contact members@aera.net or call (202)238-3200 or text Sean Twombly, director of membership, at (202) 744-5780.

The most common reason for not being able to login is that there are two AERA records with two different email addresses for the same person.  Go to the login page and click the link, “Activate or Create My Account” under the “Don’t Have an Account.”  On the next webpage under “Activation” enter each of your email addresses one at a time to see if you have two accounts to reset your password.  Write members@aera.net if you have duplicate records so that we can merge or eliminate one to avoid further confusion.
