Pronouns AERA is committed to diversity and inclusion and strives to make our Annual Meeting a friendly and affirming environment for all. If you would like your pronouns (e.g., she/her/hers, he/him/his, they/them/theirs) to be listed on your badge, please edit your pronouns under Profile on the Contact Info tab. You can also change this information any time after registration by visiting your Profile accessible from the My AERA page.
It is the policy of AERA that all persons in attendance at the 2025 AERA Annual Meeting and Exhibition, including participants who plan to attend one or more sessions, are required to register. This includes presenters, invited speakers, chairs, and discussants. Registration is also required for those attending a business meeting on-site. Registration is not transferable. You must be registered for the Annual Meeting in order to purchase tickets to attend courses and events.
AERA’s policy is that each paper must have one or more presenting authors and that all presenting authors must register for the Annual Meeting no later than March 7, 2025. Individuals who are not listed as presenting authors cannot present at the Annual Meeting. If a presenting author did not register for the meeting by March 7, 2025, their name will be removed as a presenting author. If no presenting author for a paper registered by March 7, 2025, the paper will be removed from the program.
AERA members receive a discount on Annual Meeting registration. In order to qualify for the AERA registration member rate, your membership must be current through 2025. This means that if your membership will expire in December 2024, you must renew your membership for 2025 prior to the time of registration in order to qualify for the member rate. Adjustments and/or refunds for registration fees will not be given to individuals who register at the non-member rate and later join AERA.
If you do not have 2025 AERA membership, consider obtaining it first by clicking Join/Renew AERA on the My AERA page to receive the deeply discounted member registration fee.
If you forgot your username or password, please select Forgot Your User Name and/or Password? to reset. If you do not have an AERA account, please select Activate or Create My Account and use your NOAH ID/CONTACT #/AERA # to create a username and password.
Submitters were given the option to submit a paper that, if accepted, will not be presented onsite, but instead will be presented virtually in the AERA i-Presentation Gallery. Authors can be contacted for chats or video sessions through the Gallery during the Annual Meeting. There will be a registration fee for presenting authors who choose the virtual-only option. Authors must register before their presentation will be made available in the i-Presentation Gallery.
The registration rates for AERA and NCME will be listed here when available.
Guest registration is designed for the spouse, domestic partner, or family member of the registrant. The guest may visit the exhibits and attend the session in which the registrant is a participant. Guest registration is not applicable for professionals (including students) in the field of education research who will be attending sessions or presenting papers.
Registration and housing must be done simultaneously. Once you complete your registration, your registration confirmation will include a link to make an online hotel reservation. Housing information is available on the website.
