Teaching and Learning Research Methods SIG Outstanding Paper Award

The Teaching and Learning Research Methods (TLRM) SIG Outstanding Paper Award is an AERA-sanctioned award intended to recognize outstanding scholarly work related to promoting, teaching, and/or learning educational research methods.

To be eligible for consideration, the outstanding paper nomination must have been accepted and presented at a session sponsored (or co-sponsored) by the TLRM SIG as part of the AERA Annual Meeting. Empirical studies, methodological discussions, and pedagogical topics pertinent to promoting, teaching, and/or learning research methods are considered appropriate submissions. The paper can have been presented in any session format, including presentation, roundtable, symposium, demonstration, or poster sessions. The author(s) of the winning paper will receive recognition in the form of a certificate presented to the recipient(s) at the TLRM SIG Business Meeting held at the following year’s AERA Annual Meeting.
