We invite any researcher interested in developing school-university partnerships to join us as we seek to enhance educational outcomes through evidence-based research and foster collaboration between K–12 schools and institutions of higher education. We have an excellent leadership team focused on continuing to strengthen the SIG and grow our membership.

Join Our SUPR SIG

Regular Membership is open to any AERA member who pays School-University Partnership Research (SUPR) Special Interest Group dues. To join, log on to the Members section of AERA and under “Purchases,” select “Special Interest Groups” to register for SUPR SIG 079. Voting Members

All Regular Members of the School-University Partnership Research (SUPR) Special Interest Group may vote in an AERA SUPR SIG election.

Membership Dues

The AERA membership year runs January 1–December 31. SUPR SIG membership is co-terminus with AERA membership. The amount of SUPR SIG membership dues shall be determined by majority vote of the regular membership.

Doctoral Student Support

Graduate students — the next generation of school-university partnership scholars — are valued members of the SUPR SIG community. Each year, depending on available funding, the SUPR SIG will reimburse the “early bird student registration” fee for the AERA Annual Meeting for doctoral students who have proposals related to school-university collaborative research accepted for presentation. To receive compensation, doctoral students must present their research at AERA and attend the SUPR SIG Business Meeting.
