It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the newly formed Open Scholarship SIG. This SIG was created out of a shared belief that education research is strongest when it is transparent, inclusive, and accessible. We are excited to build a space that supports thoughtful dialogue, practical learning, and collaborative experimentation around If, When, Where, and How open scholarship practices can help education researchers achieve their goals.
We warmly welcome researchers at every stage of their open scholarship journey. Whether you are deeply experienced with open data, preregistration, open materials, and reproducible workflows, or you are wondering where to begin, your participation and perspectives are welcomed here. Our aim is not to prescribe a single way of working, but to create a community that encourages reflection, growth, and shared problem-solving. I look forward to working with you as we advance education research that is both informative and open.
