New Lesson Study Book

"Lesson study with mathematics and science preservice teachers: Finding the form"

Edited by Sharon Dotger, Gabriel Matney, Jennifer Heckathorn, Kelly Chandler-Olcott and Miranda Fox

Congratulations to the authors who contributed chapters about lesson study innovations in teacher education courses with mathematics and science teacher candidates. The book, published in 2024, has four main sections: framing the lesson study innovations in preservice teacher education, zooming into lesson study steps, lesson study for advancing equity, and examples of lesson study in preservice teacher education. The Routledge publication is the result of the Lesson Study for Mathematics and Science Teacher Educators Conference which was funded by the National Science Foundation-award #2010137.
