Greetings!
Welcome to the webpage of the Multicultural/Multiethnic Education: Theory, Research, and Practice Special Interest Group!
The purpose of the MC/ME SIG is to provide a forum for the introduction, promotion, consideration, interaction of theory, research and practices regarding multicultural and multiethnic education, broadly defined, within all educational, cultural, societal and social settings, contexts, levels and locations. Our organization seeks to provide an intellectual space for scholarly discourse on topics that are of interest to both Pre K-12 and Postsecondary researchers and practitioners.
We look forward to engaging new and continuing members in active dialogue year round! Please follow us on social media via Twitter (@AERAmultethnic) and Facebook for information about events, resources, and other opportunities. We also invite you to submit proposals for the annual AERA conference and join us for one of our many session during the Spring meeting!
Thank you for your active engagement with our SIG! We look forward to an exciting year!
Kindly,
Jennifer M. Johnson, Ph.D., SIG Chair (2021-2023)
