Dr. Heesoon Bai is Professor of Philosophy of Education at Simon Fraser University in Canada. She is also a practising licensed psychotherapist. Her research interests are in ethics, epistemology, ontology, and ecology, and her special interests are in contemplative education and wisdom traditions in philosophy. She has published widely in academic journals and edited volumes on topics ranging from democratic education to Zen aesthetics.
