Message from the Chair:

Hello AERA Members,

The NAEP Studies SIG is dedicated to promoting NAEP research by building a community of stakeholders and researchers who are interested NAEP. If you are conducting research using NAEP data, please consider joining our SIG and submitting a paper for presentation at the 2021 AERA Annual meeting.  The submission deadline has been extended until August 14, 2020.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of professionals leading this SIG. Andrew Hudacs from the University of Southern Maine is our new NAEP Studies Chair-elect for 2020-2021. Our Co-Program Chairs are Young Yee Kim from the American Institute for Research and Ning Rui from Amazon. Our new Secretary is Renee Savoie from the Connecticut Department of Education and our new Treasurer is Judy Tang from Westat. Our Webmaster is Robert Perkins, Jr. of Westat and our Social Media Lead is Angela Battaglia of the Utah State Office of Education. Our new Graduate Student Representative Mary Smith is from the American Institute for Research.
