The purpose of the SIG is to provide a forum for presentation, discussion, and interaction related to the development of theoretically based and empirically testable instruments with objective linear measures. 

The Rasch SIG provides a dedicated outlet for Rasch-related research within AERA. Our SIG is especially known for its support of emerging scholars who are interested in measurement. Our Rasch measurement community includes a wonderful mix of emerging and seasoned scholars with interests in methodology and practical applications in a wide range of disciplinary areas.
