Policies, Services, and Accessibility

On-Site Services

Headquarters Office
The AERA Headquarters Office is in the Los Angeles Convention Center. It is open during these hours:

  • Tuesday, April 7 – 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm PT
  • Wednesday, April 8 – 9:00 am to 6:30 pm PT
  • Thursday, April 9 – 9:00 am to 6:30 pm PT
  • Friday, April 10 – 9:00 am to 6:30 pm PT
  • Saturday, April 11 – 9:00 am to 6:30 pm PT
  • Sunday, April 12 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm PT

Information Services Desk
The Information Services Desk, located in the Los Angeles Convention Cetner, enables you to join the Association and obtain information about the Association and the Annual Meeting. The Information Services Desk is open during registration hours.

Internet Access in Headquarter Hotels
Free WiFi is available in all meeting rooms where sessions are being held at the headquarter hotels.  To connect to WiFi, attendees should scan for wireless networks, click to connect on the AERA2026 network, and enter “AERA2026” (using UPPERCASE letters) when prompted for the password. You need to scan the wireless network at each venue and connect using the password. This network and password apply only to the meeting rooms. AERA will be providing maximum WiFi capacity at all headquarter hotels. The AERA WiFi network does not work in the hotel sleeping rooms.

Accessibility Services
AERA is committed to offering an accessible environment for all attendees. The Association strives to support persons with special needs while they are attending the Annual Meeting. An Accessibility Services Desk is in the registration area in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Registrants needing special services such as ASL interpreters are encouraged to visit.

Individuals registering for the Annual Meeting may request accessibility services at the time of registration. Those who have already registered but did not indicate accessibility needs when registering should email access@aera.net to provide a brief overview of the services they require, noting the dates and times they will be attending the Annual Meeting.

The Accessibility Services Desk is open during on-site registration hours.
