AERA is pleased to offer complimentary accessibility shuttle service between the LA Convention Center and all AERA conference hotels by request. Signs are posted at all boarding sites identifying the location as an AERA Access Shuttle pick-up and drop-off site.
AERA is committed to making the Annual Meeting accessible and welcoming to all of our community. AERA, in partnership with the conference facilities, has designated bathrooms to be gender inclusive. The locations will be listed here.
Free buses will be run between the LA Convention Center and select conference hotels. The buses will operate approximately every 20 minutes. The pick-up and drop-off sites will be in the front of the hotel lobby and the west entrance of the LA Convention Center.
Route 1: LA Convention Center (West Entrance) – InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown – Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles
Route 2: JW Marriott LA Live – Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles – InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown – LA Convention Center (West Entrance)
The Graduate Student Council Resource Center is open Wednesday through Saturday April 8-11, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday April 12, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is located in the Los Angeles Convention Center in room 502B. All graduate students are welcome to visit throughout the meeting.
AERA provides private mother's rooms for nursing.
Attendees who need areas that are quiet with reduced light and noise may take comfort in the low-sensory rooms.
During the Annual Meeting, attendees who desire a quiet place to relax or prepare for a presentation may visit the AERA Quiet Rooms available 8:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.
