AERA Meet the Editors (formerly Journal Talks) are informal sessions designed to facilitate journal editors' communication on a one-to-one basis with reviewers, authors, and potential authors. Each registered journal is included in one Meet the Editors session at our 2025 Annual Meeting in Denver from April 23–27. Journals participating in a session are assigned to a specific timeslot. There are no restrictions placed on the number of journal representatives who may occupy an assigned session. Further information and instructions will be provided in confirmation emails to registrants when timeslots are finalized.
Registration for journal editors to participate in the 2025 Meet the Editors at the AERA Annual Meeting in Denver is now closed. This service is first-come, first-served, and entering a request does not guarantee acceptance, though AERA will do everything possible to accommodate all requests.
Registration is required for participating journals. Reviewers, authors, and annual meeting attendees are encouraged to visit the Meet the Editors sessions to meet the journal representatives but should not register for the sessions.
