The OpEd Project’s core “Write To Change The World” workshop is a discovery based interrogation of authority and knowledge, that walks participants through a method for changing hearts and minds, connects them to a network of journalist mentors, and results in them publishing op-eds (if they wish). It also provides valuable tools for anyone seeking to build a case for something new (new book, new business, new policy, new research,

etc).

Additional Support:

All participants who complete will receive the following after each workshop:

  • One month following: access to journalist mentors for individual feedback on op-ed drafts; access to weekly “Ask a journalist” office hours for support & advice/

Expectation:

  • Actively participate in the workshop(s) in full (no dipping in and out). This includes being present for the duration of each day, and camera on as much as possible.
  • Write and pitch an opinion (op-ed) piece in the month after the workshop
