The AERA meeting in San Antonio is quickly approaching. As previously announced, our SIG Business meeting will be from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Friday, April 28 in the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Third Floor, Bonham E.
Following the business meeting, we will hold our SIG Social at the Rio Rio Cantina Riverwalk, 421 East Commerce Street, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission to the social includes buffet of tortilla chips, salsa, queso, flautas, quesadillas, fajitas, and a variety of beverages (including soda, coffee, tea, and up to 2 beer, wine, or margaritas per person; cash bar available for additional alcohol purchases).
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we have set the social fee at $15 for regular SIG members, $5 for graduate student members, and $20 for non-member guests. Fees are payable in cash at the door.
The SIG social is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and network with colleagues. We hope to see you there!
