AERA is pleased to offer childcare services at the 2026 AERA Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. In partnership with KiddieCorp, AERA will be offering subsidized rates to meeting registrants. KiddieCorp is available to answer any questions by phone at (858) 455-1718 or by e-mail at jannelle@kiddiecorp.com.
To ensure that the onsite Childcare Center is properly staffed and to facilitate planning of games and other activities at age-appropriate levels for the children, advanced registration is required. The deadline to register is March 13, 2026.
Childcare is provided for children between the ages of 6 months and 13 years old. The Childcare Center’s experienced staff will include an on-site supervisor. KiddieCorp is licensed, bonded, and insured. Snacks and beverages along with age-appropriate activities will be provided. Ratios of staff to children are 1 to 2 for 6 months through 11 months old, 1 to 3 for 1 through 2 years old, 1 to 5 for 3 through 5 years old, and 1 to 7 for 6 through 13 years old. To keep adults and children healthy, we will use hand sanitizer, disinfectant for surfaces and toys, and wear gloves to serve food.
The fee for this service is $15 per hour per child. This is a discounted rate as AERA subsidizes 45% of the total cost of offering this service to attendees.

Reserve Childcare in Advance Those interested in this service are strongly encouraged to register by March 13 to ensure that staff and space are planned appropriately.
