Purpose: To stimulate communication and inquiry among researchers, policymakers, and others interested in research in reading and literacy from various disciplines and theoretical perspectives. 

Submissions for the 2026 Graduate Student Award for Literacy Research Excellence closed on January 5, 2026. Entries are now under review. 

The winner will be notified by email in advance of the Annual Meeting and presented with their award during the SIG 11 Business Meeting.
