Dear Large Scale Assessment SIG colleagues,

 

Welcome to our SIG community! Our members bring diverse perspectives and expertise to the study of large-scale assessments and their contributions to educational research, policy, and practice.

 

Our SIG provides a space to share research, exchange ideas, and build connections across assessment programs, disciplines, and countries. As we look ahead to the AERA 2027 Annual Meeting, I look forward to conversations about developments in assessment, methodological challenges, and the use of assessment data to better understand students’ learning opportunities and outcomes.

 

I encourage you to take an active part in our community by sharing your work, contributing ideas for SIG activities, and welcoming new members. Graduate students and early-career researchers are especially welcome, and I hope our SIG offers opportunities for you to connect with colleagues and develop your research interests.
