Dear Teaching Educational Psychology (TEP) Community! 

Thank you for entrusting me with the TEP-chair responsibility! I am excited to serve as the chair of the TEP SIG this year, working alongside with  
  • Raven Robinson Wilson as Program Chair,  
  • Elizabeth Kraatz as Secretary/Treasurer,  
  • Xiao-Yin Chen as Communications Coordinator,  
  • April Ursula Fox Senior Graduate Student Coordinator, and
  • Sasha Bell as Junior Graduate Student Coordinator. 
Lisa Bendixen as the Past Chair will continue to provide her expertise. I am grateful for your dedication and the dedication of those who came before us.  
The TEP-SIG Community is united by a shared belief: that teaching educational psychology is not just an academic discipline but a powerful tool for change. Education Psychology offers a lens through which we understand how people learn, grow, and thrive. Teaching Educational Psychology can contribute in manifold ways to inform future teachers, how to create meaningful learning experiences and improve educational systems worldwide.  
As Chair, I am deeply committed to advancing the TEP’s goals. Together, we can:  
  • Expand our reach and impact by sharing our work and fostering partnerships in terms of communities of practice. 
  • Create spaces for meaningful dialogue—where diverse perspectives are welcomed, and innovative ideas can flourish. 
  • Equip educators with tools and strategies grounded in educational psychology research, ensuring that educational psychology remains a driving force for positive change in classrooms, communities, and beyond. 
The TEP looks forward to engaging with you and strengthening our community.
