The Environmental Education Special Interest Group offers several awards each year, which are presented at the annual conference.
The Graduate Student Travel Awards and Graduate Student Registration Awards provide funding for the AERA annual meeting.
These awards are based on financial need and targeted toward those who either do not receive institutional funding to attend or those whose funding is insufficient.
In order to qualify for these awards, you must be a member of AERA and the EE SIG.
Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award
The Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award recognizes outstanding research, scholarly, and creative work by graduate students in the field of Environmental Education.
Graduate student standing is required at the closing date for nominations (typically January). Students may self nominate or be nominated. In order to qualify for these awards, you must be a member of AERA and the EE SIG.
